Mom's Pecan Pie

Ingredients for one pie:
3 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. light Karo Syrup
1 c. pecan pieces
Directions:
Beat the eggs and sugar until thick. Add Karo and vanilla. Pour into a 9" pie shell that has been filled with the pecan pieces.
Bake at 300° for 1 hour. Test with toothpicks for doneness.
