Welcome to my site!

Welcome to my site!
I'm Cindy, and I love to cook! And, I love to eat... hence the size of my rear end! I come from a long line of cooks. My great great Grandmother was a cook in the original Harvey Houses. My grandmother Julia was an awesome cook, and my mom was incredible. I owe my skills to these great women. Especially my Mom who said this to me about making gravy... "Cindy Lynn, wallpaper paste is wallpaper paste & gravy is gravy. Never the two shall meet!" Shall we say my first experience at making gravy left a little bit to be desired! Thank the high heavens my cooking skills have improved since then! Enjoy!

I can't see your images - blogger hasn't been in a good mood this night.
I'll check back later.
A little wine would be nice.

A nice RED zinfindel for Ruby Tuesday! Great post!

I like a spicy Zinfandel with pizza, or really with a Thanksgiving turkey. Spicy berry taste balances well against the bland white meat (like the more moist dark meat), and I do enjoy your choice!

Happy ruby Tuesday

Thanks everyone for your kind comments!
Minkydo - Thanks so much. I thought the template was appropriate.

Jan - Yes, California wines are wonderful. Our fair state of Oregon produces some yummy reds as well!

Babs - I never thought of using that photo for Ruby Tuesday. You're right, that would have been perfect!

Dianne - thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoy the site. Please come back often. I try to update with recipes at least twice a week.

Ralph - I'm with ya! We love Zinfandel. The spicy berry flavor is outstanding.

Thanks to all for visiting. I'm off for a glass of Cabernet!

Cheers!

I visited your Mulligan Stew, what an extraordinary beautiful ruby family.
Used to enjoy a glass of red wine, but my head protested. Now I enjoy rosé wine for late summer night's.
The tiny bubbles make my red blood tinkle!
Oh, sweet mystery of life.

PS Love the warm and welcoming tone and lay-out in your blogs.
